Will you be there?

The People’s Climate Movement is coming — are you in?

We’re taking part in an exciting set of actions on April 29, and I want to make sure you’re getting the inside scoop! It’s shaping up to be one of the most inclusive and exciting climate marches ever. People from across the country will be showing up to demonstrate that — despite a climate change-denying White House — people from all walks of life in the U.S. care about climate change and are demanding action.

I’m not gonna lie — the Trump administration and its corporate cronies are doing their best to gut federal environmental protections and pave the way for transnational corporations to reap huge profits without regard to people’s health and the planet’s survival.

And that’s exactly why we need to turn out like never before on April 29. Because it’s not just about protesting. It’s about organizing. It’s about what we can make happen when we come together.

You might remember that earlier this year, nearly 100,000 people like you came together to demand that Obama release money for climate justice before he left office. And he did. Half a billion dollars that Trump can’t touch is now going to fund projects that help people deal with the disastrous effects of climate change.

But we need to make a lot more happen if we’re going to find solutions to climate change before we reach the tipping point. We need to hold fossil fuel corporations accountable and demand climate justice — and the only way we’ll make that happen is by massive mobilization and organizing. That’s why it is critical that you show up on April 29. Will you be there?

During Trump’s first 100 days of office, the People’s Climate Movement is organizing a wide range of actions across the country, culminating on April 29 in Washington, D.C. with a powerful mobilization that will span hundreds of organizations and movements.

The corporate accountability action league leaders are making sure that the march in Washington, D.C. is a huge success, and they’re also organizing local events across the country. I hope you will join us in Washington, D.C., or in your home town. Sign up now.

I hope to see you at a People’s Climate Movement event!
