This conference brings together the Home Office Minister responsible for the Government's draft corporate manslaughter bill, the chair of the Health and Safety Commission, bereaved families, trade unions. academics and campaigners to discuss a number of key legislative and policy initiatives of the Government. These include the draft Corporate Manslaughter bill currently going through parliament, significant reduction in HSE's use of formal enforcement measures, new sentencing proposals and the Coroners Reform Bill.
